Research Interests
I have a strong interest in heritage science and the use of modern technology to advance conservation treatments. I am particularly interested in the use of plasma technology for fungal removal and cleaning on books and paper, a topic on which I intend to focus my master’s dissertation.
My other research interests include the use of bacteria and enzymes in conservation, paper deacidification methods, investigation of acid mitigation causes and solutions, and modern materials in bookbinding and production, especially plastics.
